Scott A. Olson, CLTC is the author of “The Guidebook for Making Long Term Care Insurance Easier.”  

He’s been interviewed by major publications including Investor’s Business Daily, Kiplinger’s, and Smart Money Magazine and www.longtermcaredaily.com for his insights on long term care insurance. 

He is a licensed insurance agent and has specialized in long term care insurance since 1995.  He is licensed to sell long term care insurance in 37 states. 

In 1999, he became one of the first insurance professionals in the country to earn the CLTC designation.  “CLTC” stands for ‘Certified in Long Term Care’ and is an 8-part, multidisciplinary course of study focusing on the long term care continuum and the financing of long term care. 

Scott was born and raised in New Jersey and attended Rutgers University.  Scott began his insurance career in Florida and lived there for nearly 14 years.  He now resides in Redlands, California with his wife Carolyn.  Scott and Carolyn have four sons.
